| Worked 80 hours overtime for the last two weeks. I feel like I am losing my mind here. I wish I knew a way out!! |

| Another day at the office. Trying to live the American dream out here. I have been here for 7 months and I can honestly say that I will not forget my time here. I miss talking about football and moaning about how bad the weather is in Wales though. Life here seems to be driven by money and nothing else. The mentality here is certainly no pain no gain!!!Everything here is BIG. The food, the shopping malls and even people at times. It is like a circus and you get to see all sorts of things. Things are alot easier to obtain here than back home. Food shopping, transport and health support are all well organised and full of choice. No more health check-ups in the UK where they just ask you to cough and say that you are fine. Since my medical visits here, they have found what I am allergic to, how many fillings I need, that my cholesterol is extreemly high and how blocked my arteries in my heart are. This has been alot for me to take in within 7 months but hey, this is America. |
